I love Kate Spade! When Kate is with me, nothing can go wrong! Some people remember their first kiss, but for me I remember my first Kate Spade bag. My first Kate Spade bag was a diaper bag, that my friends bought for me. It came wrapped in a glorious green box, which was then wrapped in a white linen bag, and the covered with Kate Spade tissue paper and sealed with a signature Kate Spade sticker. After our first son was born, Kate went with us everywhere. I was sometimes more excited to show off my new bag, instead of our son. I would show people all the features of my bag, and all of its functions, while my son slept in the stroller. (Sorry son, I do love you.)
I currently own 5 bags and I have started my wishlist for her clothing line. My Christmas list is already filled with my 6th bag. I would like to think that I will find Kate Spade at the thrift stores, but I will not find a Kate in the thrift shop as people do not part with Kate. Kate becomes like a sister or friend you’ve never had. She’s reliable, always there for you when you need her, and she’s gorgeous so she inspires others to be gorgeous! Sometimes, you spill on her, and dump loads of crap, but she bears your load. I love Kate.
I have a dream that someday Kate Spade will open a coffee shop or wine bar. I will go daily and use it as my office away from home, as it would be a motivator for me to advance in my business. For now, I delight in a Teuscher Chocolate and Latte and sit outside Kate’s beautiful bright glass windows display and dream.

I love this post. It is a great example that one can splurge on things one loves even while cutting corners elsewhere! I’m in lust with designer jeans but most don’t make petite sizes. But, some do and I’m considering it as a reward when I get down to pre-preg size. =)
I have been finding Kate Spade dishes at TJMaxx. Should I call you when I find them? Last time it was a beautiful green/white polka dot casserole dish.

Yes, I’ve started collecting her dishes, so far I only have 2 cups w/ saucers that I found at a garage sale. The green/white polka dots are my fave! What TJ Maxx?
